Oceano de livros

Como no mar, nos livros eu mergulho. me perco e me encontro, sinto-me em paz e acima de tudo sou mais autenticamente eu própria. In ocean or book, I dive in, I lose myself and find myself, but above all, it's when I more my real me.

Reading Challenge Winter - #A long Winter by the fire

Inês Norton

Good Afternoon,

Let me start today by saying that this summer challenge by Isaura Pereira#jardimdemilhistorias  and Patrícia Rodrigues#oprazerdascoisas changed my life, for not only by making new friendships, this blog came to be, I was invited to a writing challenge by  desafiodestapássara, I was only 4 books from finishing the book bingo card,as well I’ve read in this 3 months over 21 books, soo I’m proud of me, I also found a new writer whose books I’m loving.

With this I mean to say that I loved the book bingo challenge, very, very, very much. In fact so much that I decided to create a challenge of my own, and I can’t thank those two girls.

I did not wish to “steal” their challange, so I got to think in the long winters we used to have when the seasons were diverse and thought of a challenge to last 2019/2020 winters.

The rules are 1 category= 1 book; begins at 0:00 11/11 and finishes at 23:59 of March 20 (between my dad’s birthday and the very last winter’s day)I tried to choose easy categories so any book of your shelves can be chosen for this challenge.

I divided the categories in the months and anyone is a winner if it reads as much or as little as their heart desires, and you don’t need to follow the numbers or moths order, you can start with a book from March, the another from November the February then one from January and finish with a book from December. You do as you like. You read and have fun.

Any doubt just you ask, here in the comments or my facebook page. So:

November:

#1 – An extra-fast reading book( one that can take you from a few hours to 24h reading time)

#2 – A book with one of these 5 months in the title, or at least happens in one of the months.

#3 – A book with RAIN in the title or at least, the words of the title form the word R-A-I-N (I kept thinking here in Guns’Roses song November Rain)

#4 -A book from an author you always wished to read but by some reason you kept postponing ( to me it’s Saramago and Stephen King)

#5 -A Classic that you are missing out, but If you read them all choose your favorite classic for a reread.

December:

#6 – A book happening in Christmas or New Year’s Eve

#7 – A book with snow (cover or title)

#8 – A alternate version of your favorite children’s tale (I can help with some ideas)

#9 – A book with your favorite hot drink in the title(coffee, ta, cappuccino, hot chocolate, etc...)

#10 – A book About Giving, Faith, Love (the non-commercial meaning of Christmas)

January (  ) :

#11 -A book of chances or starting over again(New year, new life)

#12 -A book about books

#13 - A Thriller, or a Historic Romance, or comedy or nonfiction book

#14 – A Book about a pet or other animal

#19 -A book happening during Madi-Grass or at least in one of the major cities of this Holliday (Brasil, Venezia or New Orleans)

#22 -A book with nature’s elements in the title (Sun, Moon, Stars, Flowers, Sand or Wind., p.e.)
